Back Rocking Chair

Do you think a rocking chair would look silly in a dining room?

My parents gave me a nice wooden rocking chair when my daughter was born and now that we are doing our living room over, I have no room for it. I can put it in the dining room in the corner but feel it may look awkward there. Any thoughts? I do not want to put it in storage...that would break my heart.
